South American integration on the agenda: Nova Infra Invest participates in Intermodal South America 2026 and in a forum on the Peru–Brazil Logistics Corridor
DATE: 04/23/2026
Brazil was the setting for two significant spaces for discussion on regional connectivity and South American trade. In this context, Nova Infra Invest took part in Intermodal South America 2026, the leading trade fair for logistics, infrastructure works, and related services in this part of the world, as well as in the Second Business Dialogue Forum on the Peru–Brazil Logistics Corridor, organized by CAMBRAPER and USMP. The forum addressed issues related to infrastructure, technology, innovation, and effective regional integration.
At Intermodal South America 2026, held from April 14 to 16, Nova Infra Invest presented the IIRSA Norte and IIRSA Sur corridors at the institutional stand of the Brazil–Peru Chamber of Commerce (CAMBRAPER). The exhibition brought together hundreds of exhibitors and several tens of thousands of professional visitors, who attend this major event due to its relevance to the logistics, port, and transportation sectors.
In parallel, the participation of the IIRSA corridors in the Second Brazil–Peru Logistics Forum, held on April 17, made it possible to establish strategic perspectives on logistics interconnection between the two countries. The dialogue focused on the potential for greater coordination and trade flows between Peru and Brazil, aligned with the agenda of South American Integration Routes promoted by Brazil and with the growing interest in strengthening Atlantic–Pacific connections, positioning this axis as an important regional hub.
The IIRSA Norte and IIRSA Sur routes, concessions operated by Nova Infra Invest, are part of this conversation as existing infrastructure within Peruvian territory. IIRSA Norte connects Piura with Loreto, while IIRSA Sur articulates the country from Cusco to the area of Iñapari, in Madre de Dios, on the border with Brazil. Both road axes were presented as corridors of relevance to a broader agenda of connectivity, trade, and binational integration.
For Ricardo Paredes, Director of the IIRSA corridors, linking the Pacific with the Atlantic requires a shared, long-term vision—and Peruvian routes are already part of that equation: “IIRSA Norte and IIRSA Sur are solid integration corridors that offer a reliable platform to sustain and expand trade between Peru and Brazil.”
The opportunity for integration between Peru and Brazil should not be viewed solely through the lens of current bilateral trade, but also in light of the sustained growth in trade between Brazil and Asia, which opens space to discuss alternative and complementary routes via the Pacific. In this context, Peru emerges as a logistics axis with existing assets, although scaling up its role depends on enabling conditions such as complementary investment, border efficiency, and coordination between public and private actors.
Through its presence at both events, Nova Infra Invest reaffirms its position as a key player that today combines logistics promotion, technical analysis, and a long-term vision. Participation in both events helped contribute to an agenda that highlights the role of Peruvian corridors in a more functional and connected South American integration.
