UHN Consortium Holds Kick-Off Meeting for the Respect Builds Program
DATE: 07/08/2026
At the beginning of July, the kick-off meeting for the Respect Builds Program was held. The initiative, developed by Tenenge, an Odebrecht subsidiary, is aimed at strengthening an organizational culture based on respect, integrity, diversity, and inclusion. The meeting brought together managers and coordinators from the UHN Consortium to present the program’s pillars and raise awareness among leaders about their essential role in building and maintaining safe, respectful, and welcoming workplaces for everyone.
The opening session was led by Contract Director Maria Alencar, who reinforced the company’s commitment to promoting a culture of respect. She highlighted the shared responsibility of leadership in preventing inappropriate behavior and encouraging relationships grounded in ethics, appreciation of people, and inclusion. In her remarks, she also emphasized that the UHN Consortium was selected as the first Tenenge project to implement the program, demonstrating the organization’s confidence in the contract’s potential to promote and strengthen this culture.
The program content was then presented by Gustavo Cerqueira, Odebrecht’s Corporate Integrity Manager, together with the project’s Social Responsibility and Communication (RSCOM) coordination team. They addressed the program’s principles, guidelines, and objectives. During the presentation, the pillars of the Respect Builds program were detailed, as well as the actions that will be carried out under the contract, including training sessions, dialogue circles, socio-educational campaigns, and initiatives focused on priority topics aimed at strengthening a workplace free from harassment, discrimination, and any form of violence.
This initiative marks the beginning of an ongoing awareness and engagement agenda, reinforcing the commitment of both Tenenge and the UHN Consortium to valuing people and fostering more human, respectful, and inclusive working relationships every day.
