Rota do Oeste Concessionaire is ranked as a Great Place to Work
DATE: 07/09/2020
With 88% approval by the Members, the Rota do Oeste Concessionaire now holds a position as a Great Place to Work (GPTW). The evaluation was carried out by means of a survey that allowed the employees, according to individual experience, to evaluate five dimensions: Credibility, Respect, Fairness, Pride and Camaraderie. The application of the questionnaire took place on the 15-26 of June. The participation was spontaneous and 82% of employees got involved. The result was released earlier this month.
For Renato Bortoletti, the CEO of the Concessionaire, the positive result is a reflection of the involvement of each Member in the activities developed daily, always with a lot of dedication and hard work. “It is satisfactory to have a certification proving that the company can reach a high level of well-being and be recognized by those who are part of it. Especially at a time of adversity such as the one we are experiencing due to the coronavirus pandemic”.
Bortolleti also points out that Rota do Oeste manages to bring together a group of people with the same values, commitments and life plans, always considering the respect for differences and individualities. “It is important to work in a company that values everyone’s well being, giving them the opportunity to be themselves, that values leadership and Members who live together with respect and harmony, always following values and working with humility”, he says.
Now, after this first step, which is the certification, Rota do Oeste starts a new stage for ranking amongst the 150 best places to work. The satisfaction index reached by the Concessionaire is compatible with the 2019 winners. Bortolleti also reminds us that the Concessionaire has the challenge of keeping the stamp. “We are not definitely; we are now amongst the best. This is an annual evaluation and I already set the challenge for us to continue at this level in 2021. This achievement represents a lot for the Members, who leave their homes and families to dedicate themselves to the company”.
The participation in the research and certification was born from the intention of identifying in an impartial manner the feeling of the Members regarding the company and the work performed. Bortoletti says that Rota do Oeste already carries out the climate survey among the employees periodically, but there was a greater interest in hearing from this collaborator. “The results have always been satisfactory, the participation of the Members is always high, but we felt that we could extend this evaluation and we opted for the GPTW analysis, which is an international certification, totally free and credible”.
Certification – GPTW is a global labor authority and an expert in helping organizations on their journey to be a great place to work. According to the Great Place to Work, their mission is to build a better society by transforming each organization. Today, they are distributed in more than 60 countries and in Brazil (in São Paulo, Ceará, Paraná, Pernambuco, Rio de Janeiro and Rio Grande do Sul). Since 1997, GPTW has recognized over 6,200 organizations.
The GPTW stamp shows that companies have a positive differential. According to the institution, the certification came about to expand the ability to recognize good organizations. This new option does not have a limited number of companies recognized as in the GPTW rankings and ensures that all good working environments according to their own methodology (approval of at least 70% of employees) have their efforts recognized and gain visibility. All this through research applied to employees.
