Rota das Bandeiras elected São Paulo’s best concessionaire in Relationship with Society

Rota das Bandeiras, a company of Odebrecht TransPort responsible for managing Dom Pedro Highway in the interior of São Paulo, was elected best concessionaire in the category Relationship with Society. The recognition was bestowed by the São Paulo State Public Transportation Agency (ARTESP), which analyzed its communication, ombudsman, environmental and social responsibility actions in 2017.

“The relationship forged with people is the product of a permanent and tireless effort. A driver saved on the road, a journalist informed of traffic conditions, a student learning about road safety, a judo athlete sponsored by us. Each person is special to us,” said Ana Carolina Farias, CEO of Rota das Bandeiras.

The concessionaire also placed second in the category Efficiency of Operating Services, which evaluates the automatic toll system, pre-hospital services, mechanical assistance and towing services. It also evaluated the quality of equipment, such as the call box for emergency calls, the cameras positioned along the highway and the variable message signage.

Rota das Bandeiras manages 297 kilometers of highway in the inland region of São Paulo state.
