Odebrecht Retirement Fund has changed its name to Vexty, a new brand that is neutral in any reference to its current Sponsor Companies.

Today, the Closed Private Pension Fund already serves over 110 companies, such as Atvos, Borealis, Braskem, BRK Ambiental, DP World Brasil, Inova BH, Ocyan, Odebrecht S.A., OEC, OLI, OR, OTP, Ótima, Quantiq and Rota das Bandeiras.

“The brand change seeks to support Vexty’s short-term growth and contribute to its long-term sustainability. With the Pension Reform currently advancing through Congress, it is now even more important to disseminate the idea of an individual “private pension” strategy, and the change will definitely support these goals,” said Sérgio Brinckmann, CEO of Vexty.

The executive also explained that the term “retirement fund” is no longer used in connection with the brand because the market has associated it with the federal government’s official pension plan (INSS), which works against younger people’s interest in learning about the benefits of such products. With the change, the company will focus on the term “investment plan for the future.”

The brand Vexty is derived from the word ‘investment’ and was selected from among over 100 options. “In addition to the name, the moment is important for strengthening the pillars that already are part of our essence, such as caring for people, innovative attitude and focus on security and performance,” said Cristiano Verardo, Head of Communication and Relations at Vexty.

The work to develop a new name, strategy and visual identity was led by executive Luis Castellari, head of Keenwork, an agency specializing in rebranding processes. Meanwhile, CRT Comunicação, led by advertising professional Carlos Torquato, was responsible for developing the new Web site, as well as for other graphic, digital, editorial and advertising materials.

With the new brand launch, Vexty will start to focus on the “10+” advantages of having an investment plan for the future as part of people’s private pension strategy and announces its “way of being,” which formalizes a series of concepts and ideas that represent the company’s identity.

According to Sérgio, more than just “managing a pension plan,” Vexty’s purpose is to “support people in their post-career planning, longing to see them, in the future, benefiting from being masters of their own destiny.”

“We want to provoke people to think and act about their future. More importantly, we want to offer the best products and services for the employees of the companies that are counting on Vexty. We want everyone to enjoy this benefit,” said the executive.

According to the company, the rebranding will not change in any way the services already provided or its governance (Boards, Committees and Executive Board).

“Everything that already is excellent will be maintained. What isn’t will be improved and follow the example of the 100% Online Loan of PrevSeguro, the Future Income Simulator of Investment Profiles, etc.,” said Sérgio.

Vexty is has administrative, legal, asset, corporate and budget autonomy from all Sponsor Companies and is funded only by the management fees paid by its Participants and Beneficiaries.
