Relationship hotsite of SuperVia wins national communication award
DATE: 11/28/2018
The hotsite “Tô de love no trem” (I’m in love in the train) created by SuperVia to promote interaction among passengers has won one of Brazil’s premier communication awards. With 8,000 members, 4,000 matches and even a marriage, the project won the 44th Aberje Award as the best digital media project.
The action was created for Valentine’s Day and invited people to sign up for a website that searched for other users with the same tastes and who traveled in the same train line.
“We’re always receiving reports of dates, marriages and friendships that started during the train commute. The initiative brought us even closer to passengers and showed how the train is a socially important environment,” explained Ninah Shnaiderman, marketing coordinator at SuperVia.
Many passengers used the campaign to share their love stories that started in the train. Here are some of them:
“It all started in a 900 series train. Before I knew it, we were married. It will be 11 years on July 7 and we have a beautiful son. I love you, Antônio,” said user Josy Oliveira.
“I met my love Marcus in a train two years ago. We are getting married in a month. I’d never imagine that a trip would change my life!” said Mariana Magalhães.
