Enseada celebrates the completion of the first barges for the Lhg Mining project. This milestone represents the result of the joint efforts of its members, employees, and partners, and consolidates the effective resumption of operations at its shipyard—a fundamental step in strengthening the Brazilian naval industry.

The vessels are being built by the Paraguaçu Barges Consortium, formed by Enseada and Tenenge, companies of the Novonor Group. The combination of the expertise and experience of these two companies reinforces the commitment to excellence, safety, and efficiency at every stage of the project.

The delivery of the 80 barges is expected to be completed by 2028. This project is financed by the Merchant Marine Fund, with the Brazilian National Bank for Economic and Social Development acting as the financial agent.
