Odebrecht Engenharia & Construção has launched the 5th cohort of Jovem Construtor, a program aimed at developing young professionals with the potential to become future leaders and specialists within the company. In this new cycle, 30 professionals are participating, including trainees, analysts, and junior engineers, from different areas and projects in Brazil and Angola.

The program follows a hybrid training model and aims to deepen participants’ experience in Our Culture and in leading Odebrecht’s Business Task, connecting theoretical learning with practical business application.

The first meeting, titled “Our Culture and You,” focused on translating into practice the concepts of the company’s philosophy learned through e-learning. Guest speakers Juliana Lima, from the People & Organization area at Odebrecht, and Cristiane Nascimento, Executive Director of the Norberto Odebrecht Foundation, led discussions on Our Values and Our Way of Being, as well as the legacy and the role of people in building the organization’s future, inspired by the essence of the Norberto Odebrecht Foundation.

Following this, during the initial module held in the week of April 13, participants continued the learning journey, exchanging experiences and strengthening connections. The agenda covered key themes from the first half of the business task, always aligned with Our Culture and the challenges of the engineering and construction sector.

To support the development of the participants, this stage brought together 13 mentors in their respective areas of expertise:

Daniel Villar, CEO of Novonor Group – Dreaming the Client’s Dream; Ygor Cezar – Digital Transformation: The Future of Engineering & Construction; Maria Alencar – Business Task: The Entrepreneurship Cycle; Marcelo Piller – Lighting Talk – ESG in Business Development; Marcelo Gentil and João Paulo Carvalho – Institutional and Government Relations and Reputation & Image; Eduardo Freitas and Marcos Donato – Business Development Journey; Creation of Opportunities and Business Competitiveness – Mauricio Almeida; Lighting Talk – Ethics, Integrity and Transparency from the Start – Murilo Terra; Christianne Lobo and Patrícia Velasco – Engineering in Client Development; Giorgio Bullaty – Executive Chat with the Contract Director.

According to Ana Flavia Salice, program coordinator, “Jovem Construtor embodies Odebrecht’s culture. Being able to count on people who share their time, experience, and knowledge in shaping the next generation is one of the greatest legacies we are building.”

Over the upcoming modules, participants will continue engaging in practical and collaborative experiences, expanding their network and deepening essential knowledge for their professional journeys.

More than a training program, Jovem Construtor strengthens a culture of continuous learning, connection among people, and preparation of professionals for future challenges.
