At the end of May, the ViaSul Construction Consortium resumed an important Work Education initiative: Movimenta – Workshop for Operational Leadership. Movimenta is the name given to the Odebrecht Leadership training strategy, a call for the company’s Leadership to continue developing and an investment in one of its main assets: people. The edition held resumes the investment in the development of operational leadership, foremen, and masters.

The workshop was conducted through a partnership between P&O, represented by Ana Flavia Salice and Sabrina Veras, and the ViaSul team, with the support of Iolanda Hennrichs, Joyce Melo, Marllon Santos, Patricia Wesz Klein, José Lucas de Araújo Silva, and Mailson Lima de Gois.

According to Sabrina Veras, P&O Coordinator, “the resumption of Movimenta for Operational Leadership represents an important step in the development of a group that has always been part of our history: our foremen, masters, and frontline leaders.” For the organizers, “this initiative symbolizes Odebrecht’s reconnection with its essence, valuing and developing those who make a difference in the daily work and are fundamental for delivering results with excellence for customer satisfaction,” explains Sabrina.

Three classes were held in the cities of Soledade and Lajeado, in Rio Grande do Sul, bringing together 96 members of middle leadership in an intense journey of development, exchange of experiences, and learning.

Movimenta aims to strengthen essential leadership skills on the front line, always aligned with Our Culture and Our Values. The proposal is to train leaders prepared for the full exercise of the pedagogy of presence (dedicating time, presence, experience, and example), prepared for daily challenges, and promoting practical reflections that have a real impact on teams and the results of the small company.

Among the topics covered in the workshop are: Our Culture, Odebrecht Leadership (Pedagogy of Presence), Our Culture, Communication, Feedback, Code of Conduct, focusing on Moral Harassment and Sexual Harassment.

“Applying training for operational leadership was to know the soul of Odebrecht, where everything happens. It was a great honor to pass on our knowledge and at the same time learn so much from each leadership present,” says Ana Flavia.

“The workshop was extremely enriching for our middle leadership. It brought practical tools that contribute to improving assertive and empathetic communication between leader and led, decision-making, and the ability to lead teams, always aligned with Our Culture. We will certainly reap excellent results!” Joyce Melo, Social Communication Coordinator of the ViaSul Construction Consortium.

“Actions like these promote continuous learning, strengthen relationships between areas so that we can move forward together towards a single goal. We are a company of People and with simplicity, humility, and unity we will promote this spirit for the Leadership of this contract.” André Lino, Works Manager
