Odebrecht TransPort improves its score in Ethos Indicators
DATE: 02/28/2018
Odebrecht TransPort received a score of 7.1 in the Ethos Indicators for Integrity and Against Corruption. That surpasses last year’s score of 4.2 as well as the overall average of other companies of 6.1.
In the four areas evaluated, Odebrecht TransPort received a score higher than the overall average of other companies. These areas are: governance and conduct, anti-corruption practices, management system and responsible political involvement.
“The improvement in the score reflects the efforts made by the entire company to implement an effective system. It’s everyone’s achievement,” said Josimá Guimarães, Director of Compliance at Odebrecht TransPort.
The indicators were developed by the Ethos Institute, an organization created to help the private sector act more fairly and responsibly. Today, the organization has over 500 member companies.
In two indicators (governance and integrity program) Odebrecht TransPort received the maximum score (10). The items form the scores of the sub-topics Governance and Anti-corruption Conduct and Practices. Another highlight was the score on the item Code of Conduct, of 9.7.
