Ocyan wins new contract for maintenance activities and offshore services in Campos Basin

Ocyan has signed a new contract with Petrobras for the provision of construction and assembly services on platforms P-09, P-26, P-32, P-33 and P-37, all of them in Campos Basin. The contract takes effect at the beginning of 2022 and is valid for three years, and can be renewed for another 640 days. Initially, there will be more than 200 openings for various professionals to work on this project.

“Winning this new contract reaffirms the positioning of our business, which for more than 20 years has been providing construction and assembly services for different customers in the oil and gas segment. We have had important achievements in this current cycle, and this contract represents one more of them, besides being a demonstration of Petrobras’ trust in our work,” celebrates Vinícius Castilho, Ocyan’s contracts officer for the Maintenance and Offshore Services area.

Among the main activities contemplated in this contract are the maintenance and repair services of the units, besides the planning and execution of the services of boiler room, welding, painting, electrical and instrumentation, and equipment maintenance services, among others.

2021 to celebrate

In the beginning of the year, Ocyan won another contract with Petrobras for maintenance activities and offshore services on the Merluza and Mexilhão platforms, in the Santos Basin.

“This is an important year for Ocyan from the point of view of new contracts. We are managing to position ourselves very competitively in the new hiring cycles. Two contracts have already been won this year in the area of maintenance and offshore services, in addition to the three rig contracts signed this year. Being an integrated service provider with solid and recognized experience in different fronts accredits us to seek new achievements, and also challenges us to seek the increasingly demanding recognition of the market,” says the executive.

Since the year 2000, it has more than 33 contracts performed, 1 million engineering hours, more than 120 production and drilling shutdowns, more than 11 thousand tons of piping and structures assembled on board the offshore facilities, more than 1 million square meters painted, and 14 million meters of scaffolding assembled.

In addition, the maintenance and offshore services unit has a robust management system that ensures customers Safety, Quality, and Productivity. The area holds ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and OHASAS 18001:2007 certifications.
