Vacation Internship Registers 3,600 People in Just Three Days

What interest do young Brazilians have in working with us? At a time at which we are investing in Our Commitment to more ethical, upstanding, and transparent conduct, the response from the generation arriving to the job market now has been overwhelmingly positive.

This week, Odebrecht Engineering & Construction, Odebrecht Real Estate Developments, and Odebrecht Transport opened registration for the Vacation Internship Program, considered the main door of entry for new members. During the first three days, we received over 3,600 entries from those interested in competing for one of the 50 openings available to work at one of our projects in January.

The positions were opened on Monday, September 18, and the deadline for registration extends until October 18. It is expected that the total number of interested candidates will exceed the record set during the previous edition (July 2017) when approximately 20,000 candidates signed up. Traditionally, the editions at the start of the year have been more popular because the university students have more availability to participate.

Seven States

The job openings are available in seven states: São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Bahia, Mato Grosso, Minas Gerais, Paraná, and Pernambuco. The trainees receive a monthly stipend, life insurance, meal voucher (or meals in the cafeteria), and a transport voucher (or chartered bus). Eligible candidates include those who are completing their fourth semester in Administration, Accounting Sciences, Communication, Economy, Engineering, Statistics, Law, and Psychology.
