Three Nova Infra Invest Projects Are Finalists in Awards in Peru
DATE: 09/02/2025
Nova Infra Invest is participating in the GRI Andean Awards 2025 with three finalist projects developed in Peru. These initiatives reflect the company’s commitment to gender equity, women’s empowerment, and environmental preservation, aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and best practices in social and environmental responsibility in infrastructure.
Inclusive Talent: Attraction and Equity, an initiative led by the IIRSA Sul Concessionaire, promotes the inclusion of women in technical, operational, and leadership roles in sections 2 and 3 of the highway. With structured actions in inclusive recruitment, internal equity policies, and gender impact monitoring, the project increased female participation from 16% in 2022 to 22% in 2025. It also offered training and awareness programs that transformed organizational culture and strengthened ties with local communities.
In the Olmos Irrigation Project, the Super Chica program aims to empower girls and adolescents in rural areas by presenting positive female role models in traditionally male-dominated fields. Through vocational talks, school contests, and comic book publications, the initiative inspires young women to pursue careers in science, technology, and leadership. With low cost and high impact, the project has engaged over 50% of female students in each edition, generating educational and social transformation
Developed by the IIRSA Norte Concessionaire, the Dale Vía a la Vida program focuses on wildlife conservation in protected areas crossed by the highway connecting the port of Paita to the Amazonian city of Yurimaguas. With the installation of canopy bridges, specialized signage, and awareness campaigns, the project protects endangered species and promotes ecological connectivity. It also strengthens natural forest regeneration processes and positions the concession as a reference in innovative environmental management.
These three projects demonstrate that it is possible to generate positive impact with well-structured strategies, even with limited resources. By participating in the GRI Andean Awards 2025, Nova Infra Invest reaffirms its commitment to building infrastructure that is more inclusive, sustainable, and aligned with the needs of communities and the environment.
