On July 29, Tenenge and Petrobras signed the contract for the construction of the Naphtha Hydrotreatment Unit , a structure that is part of TREM 2 of the Abreu e Lima Refinery (RNEST), located in Ipojuca (PE).

Once TREM 2 is completed, the refinery is expected to double its processing capacity. The construction of the entire unit is projected to generate around 30,000 direct and indirect jobs.

The achievement of the RNEST contract was supported directly by the Contract Director Antenor de Castro´s team, that is now focusing on the signing of the GASLUB contract in Rio de Janeiro, another milestone achieved by Tenenge this year. The Naphtha Hydrotreatment Unit project will be led by Contract Director Maria Alencar and her team.
