After the completion of the first Health Center in the Cabana do Pai Tomás neighborhood, in Belo Horizonte, which has been in full operation since January 2020, PPP Saúde BH started the construction of the 39 remaining units provided for in the contract. Currently, work is taking place on five simultaneous service fronts and two more will start in early June.

At the moment, more than 100 people work on the project, a number that is expected to grow to more than 600 when the work reaches its peak, scheduled for April 2021, when 27 service fronts will be operating at the same time. The next health units, in the neighborhoods of Boa Vista and Itaipú, should be completed by November this year.

The work relies on the use of modern technology – the Light Steel Frame system, in which the concrete structures with structural masonry closures are replaced by a light galvanized steel structure, coated with plates ready to receive painting or coatings, allowing greater speed. in conclusion.

The design of each unit includes two floors, 17 offices, a pharmacy, a dental room with six chairs for care, a vaccine room, a room for collecting material for exams, a nursing observation room, administrative areas and meeting rooms. In addition, it will have areas with 100% accessibility for people with reduced mobility.
