  • Odebrecht mobilizes all members to build the Group’s future. Take the survey

    The approval of Odebrecht S.A.’s court-supervised reorganization plan on July 27, represented a turning point for our Group. It was the starting point for the Odebrecht do Futuro program, to be expressed in the Purpose and 2030 Vision.

    Work is a priority for this second half of 2020. To support the development of the program, the holding company hired GlobeScan, a company with over 30 years of experience in projects of this nature in several countries and in different organizations.

    In the end, based on the principles and concepts of our corporate culture, TEO, a purpose will be revealed and a vision defined that will guide our growth and will motivate us to think about the future.

     

    Collective participation

    The program expects the involvement of all members of the Group. “The construction of Odebrecht of the future counts with the participation of all our members, in an interactive way, so that everyone can express their feelings and their opinions on the matter”, says Ruy Sampaio, CEO of Odebrecht S.A.

    On September 25, for example, an interactive online forum was held with the presence of more than 170 members, including members of the board of directors of Odebrecht S.A., Business Leaders, the CEO of Odebrecht S.A. and their teams, and young people representing the new generation. The participants were able to express their feelings about the strengths of the Group and share what they expect from the future and how Odebrecht can contribute positively with their presence.

    Last week, all members were invited to take a survey to share their opinions and perceptions about the Odebrecht Group. Today, September 4th, is the last day to take the survey.

    Do you know the difference between purpose and vision?

    The purpose and vision of a company go together and must be integrated. In addition to being inspiring and challenging, they must show a way for the group to create value for themselves and for the society.

    At Odebrecht, they will be guided by internal and external context, trends and expectations, TEO culture, principles and concepts, and internal policies, for the Group’s skills and opportunities to serve society.

    Compass that will guide us all in the same direction. It will be like a magnetic north attracting us to the desired direction.
