Ocyan launches new internal communication channel

Faced with the current Coronavirus pandemic scenario, Ocyan anticipated the launch on March 30th of its new internal communication channel: the OcyanComunicaplatform. Developed for all digital platforms, this is the company’s first interactive and collaborative tool, available to all on and offshoremembers. The project originates from the Ocyan Waves Challenge, one of the company’s innovation programs, and is the result of the challenge to improve communication with the offshore audience. The initiative was developed by Ocyan’s Communication area and the Florianópolis Social Base startup.

Expected to start in mid-April, Ocyan’s Communications area has chosen to anticipate the launch of the new channel, given that access to real-time and mass information is even more necessary and fundamental for the circulation of facts and official news at this time. It is worth noting that Ocyan has decided to temporarily allow remote work for members and onshore contractors including those who do not belong to the risk group.

Among the many features of the new tool – such as publishing news at any time and anywhere, sharing photos and videos, as well as customizing content consumption according to interest – it is also possible to connect with other members in a virtual space of constructive dialogs. Ocyan Comunica is available on the web and the tool’s app can be downloaded from Google Play (Android) and Apple Store (iOS).
