    Ocyan’s Personnel Manager, Bruna Fonseca Augusto, on Saturday morning, May 21, participated in the ‘companies in the path to diversity’ panel, which adressed diversity issues, the need for deconstruction and change of perception of actions in this sense. The round table is part of the Exhibit ‘Desconstrução + Conferência Metainclusão com Pequena Lo’, at the Museu do Amanhã.

    The executive also talked about initiatives adopted recently by Ocyan, such as the website’s digital accessibility and the blind recruitment in the last edition of the company’s Intern Program, in the testimonial below:

    “Ocyan’s invitation from Museu do Amanhã to be part of the panel ‘companies in the path to diversity’, which addressed diversity issues, deconstruction needs, and change of actions regarding the inclusion of people with disabilities in the labor market was an enriching and surprising experience.

    At the event’s round table, we had the opportunity to share and make relevant reflections on diversity and inclusion practices of large companies, and we counted on a constructive point of view of a representative from the Labor Prosecutor’s Office, besides the interaction with the audience present.

    During this dialogue we talked about initiatives recently adopted by Ocyan, such as the website’s digital accessibility and blind recruitment in the last edition of the company’s Intern Program. In addition we talked about how Ocyan’s Diversity and Inclusion Program provides a strong governance structure and commitments to the topic. We have invested in several actions aimed at diversity dimensions such as: gender, race and ethnicity equity, people with disabilities, either internally or with the support of partners. Within the structure of the Diversity and Inclusion Program, it is worth highlighting the role of Affinity Groups, formed by multidisciplinary professionals, who are ambassadors and provide a diverse view on allies bringing more inputs for the creation of actions in partnership with the Personnel area, which drive inclusion aligned to the company’s strategy. In light of our organizational culture, we talked about the leader’s role and protagonism in this journey and Ocyan’s commitments with the ESG agenda, as the company seeks to be a reference as an inclusive employer by 2030. Thus, we set objective goals that impact the bonus of our executives and the entire Ocyan and procedural indicators so we can track our evolution, and be aligned with these actions. This year, our President has just reaffirmed our commitment to the UN Global Compact’s initiatives: Racial Ethnic Equity, Women Lead 2030 and Decent Wage”.

    Also present at the event Ocyan’s Disability Affinity Group leader, Kelly Astolpho, and five GA Ambassadors.
