The announcement was made on December 19 during the Novonor Group’s Annual Meeting, held in São Paulo. The same meeting announced the planned departure of board member Roberto Faldini, who has made significant contributions to Novonor’s Board, and who will continue as a member appointed by the holding company to Braskem’s Board of Directors.

Novonor’s Board of Directors will now be made up as follows: Maurício Odebrecht (chairman), José Mauro Carneiro da Cunha, Héctor Núñez and Daniel Villar.
