Created in 2022 as a structured leadership development strategy, the Movimenta Program has established itself in recent years as one of Odebrecht’s main leadership training initiatives. Through in-person workshops and practical application activities, the initiative aims to prepare leaders to face contemporary challenges, always aligned with Our Culture.

The program is based on the understanding that leadership plays a central role in people development and, consequently, in sustaining business results. In this context, it proposes a design that combines conceptual reflection, experience sharing, and practices directly connected to daily work activities.

Currently, Movimenta’s audience is structured around two main pillars. The first focuses on Managerial Leadership, targeting coordinators and managers. The second is Operational Leadership, composed of supervisors and foremen who work directly on construction sites and contracts.

According to Andrea Darze, who is part of the People & Organization team at Odebrecht, “By investing in Movimenta, we reinforce the importance of the role of leadership as both educator and guardian of Our Culture, capable of integrating teams, developing people, strengthening groups, and sustaining Odebrecht’s results.”

    Results and reach

Between 2022 and 2023, Movimenta held its first cohorts, involving 61 leaders in Brazil in a workshop focused on discussing contemporary management challenges, the role of leadership in employees’ journeys, and the challenge of making the values of Our Culture more present in daily practice. This initiative went beyond Brazil’s borders and expanded its geographic reach to Luanda, Angola, bringing together an additional 32 leaders.

In 2025, the program expanded its design and implementation, marking the resumption of investment in the development of Operational Leadership at construction sites.

The ViaSul Construction Consortium launched the program with three workshop cohorts, bringing together 93 participants in the cities of Soledade and Lajeado (RS).

Shortly afterward, the Rodoanel project in São Paulo gathered 176 operational leaders to participate in six program cohorts.

Still in 2025, the corporate People & Organization area, in partnership with consulting firm Maracatu&EU, developed a new edition of the workshop for the Managerial Leadership pillar, bringing together more than 60 participants, including coordinators and managers from different areas across Brazil.

In 2026, the program maintains its pace of expansion and implementation for both managerial and operational pillars.

The year began with an application at Prosub-EBN, with the participation of 66 Operational Leadership members—an initiative that achieved a very high level of participant satisfaction (maximum NPS).

“Supporting leadership development is rewarding. Movimenta Operational Leadership brings everyday practice into focus and emphasizes continuous improvement for a group that brings our projects to life and fulfills Our Clients’ Dream,” highlighted Ana Flavia Salice, a member of the People & Organization team and one of the program’s facilitators.

For the Managerial pillar, there is an expectation of delivering two additional workshops throughout the year, involving approximately 60 leaders.

Note: Workshop held on March 26 and 27.

Juliana Leite, also a member of the People & Organization team, states that Movimenta proposes more than technical training—it seeks to strengthen the leadership role. “By encouraging the values that guide our actions, such as trust in human potential, we generate direct impacts on team performance and results,” she said.

Since its inception, Movimenta has progressively expanded its reach and impact. The numbers reinforce the breadth of this initiative, which since 2022 has engaged 547 leaders working across different pillars and environments within the company.

This initiative translates into practice our belief in people’s potential, preparing leaders to exercise the Pedagogy of Presence with consistency and alignment to Our Culture in all environments.

Movimenta is consolidated as a continuous initiative, aligned with Odebrecht’s strategy of investing in the development of its most important asset: people.
