Visita na GáveaOn July 29, 49 third-year cadets from the Military Fire Department Officer Academy of the State of Rio de Janeiro (CBMERJ) visited the Gávea Station construction site. The visit was coordinated by Colonel Luciano Salviano, professor of the Soil Mechanics course, and Captain Guilherme Rodrigues, who is responsible for the Gávea battalion.

The program began with a presentation delivered by the team from the Gávea Construction Consortium (CCG), formed by Odebrecht and Carioca. The session provided visitors with a comprehensive overview of the engineering challenges and solutions involved in the project, sharing knowledge, experience, and practical aspects related to geology, engineering, and safety. Representing the CCG during the visit were Márcio Pedroso (Tunnel Manager), Gabrielle dos Santos (Engineer), Camila Mansur (Geologist), Adelmo Tavares (SSTMA Manager), and Janaína Feitosa (Communications).

Following the presentation, the participants were guided on a site tour, where the cadets had the opportunity to observe firsthand the soil characteristics, rock formations, and the practical application of the concepts discussed during the session.

“The feedback from the project was extremely positive. The students showed great interest, actively participated in the discussions, and asked many questions, demonstrating enthusiasm and curiosity about everything they were able to observe,” said Janaína Feitosa from the Social Communications team.
