ViaSul Construction Consortium Celebrates Graduation of Young Apprentices and Strengthens Its Legacy in Soledade (RS)

Over 12 months of training, the apprentices completed the Industrial Logistics Process Operator course, totaling 800 hours of instruction that combined theoretical learning with the development of skills tailored to the labor market. In addition to professional qualification, participants gained their first formal work experience through apprenticeship contracts.

The graduation ceremony brought together family members, representatives of the Consortium, SENAI, and local government authorities in a moment of recognition for the students’ dedication and the transformative impact of the program. More than preparing future professionals, the initiative leaves a lasting legacy for the community. By investing in the development of local youth, the ViaSul Construction Consortium helped expand future prospects, strengthen employability, and create opportunities that will endure beyond the completion of the project.

According to CCVS Human Resources Manager José Lucas, the graduation symbolizes the success of a purpose-driven initiative. “Today, we celebrate much more than the completion of a course. We celebrate talent development, the achievement of new horizons, and the positive impact that remains within the community. Seeing these young people prepared to enter the job market reinforces our conviction that we are leaving a legacy that goes beyond infrastructure.”

The program received strong interest from the community from its launch, attracting more than 300 applications for the 40 available positions. The high demand highlighted the need for professional training opportunities in the municipality and reinforced the importance of collaboration between the private sector, educational institutions, and public authorities.

Francisco Cordeiro, CCVS Administrative and Financial Coordinator, emphasized the social impact of the initiative. “The true legacy of a project lies in the people it transforms. Throughout the program, these young participants had the opportunity to gain experience, develop new skills, and prepare themselves for the challenges of the labor market. Seeing this class complete this stage confirms that we are building a legacy that extends beyond the construction works, generating opportunities and contributing to community development.”

The Young Apprentice Program has established itself as a transformative initiative in Soledade, reaffirming the ViaSul Construction Consortium’s commitment to creating shared value and building sustainable opportunities for society. As it concludes another chapter of its activities in the region, the Consortium leaves behind not only a major infrastructure project that supports the state’s development, but also stories of growth, learning, and new possibilities for dozens of young people who are now prepared for the next stages of their professional journeys.
