Diálogos de Impacto, the podcast produced by the Norberto Odebrecht Foundation (FNO), has just released a new episode dedicated to a topic that is becoming increasingly strategic for social organizations: organizational culture.

In the Third Sector, where purpose is the main driving force behind institutional action and human relationships play a central role, organizational culture is decisive in generating long-term social impact. It is no coincidence that, according to the Internal Communication Trends 2025 report, developed by Ação Integrada and Aberje, strengthening culture and fostering a sense of belonging are now the primary objectives of Brazilian organizations.

To deepen the discussion, the episode brings together Erica Buganza, Human Resources Manager at Itaú Foundation, and Jonas Nogueira, Sustainability and Social Impact Coordinator at the Norberto Odebrecht Foundation. The discussion is moderated by Isadora Sarno, Communications Analyst at FNO.

Throughout the conversation, the guests explore what makes organizational culture in the Third Sector different from that of other sectors. They also discuss its role in employee engagement, leadership development, and the consolidation of values that guide institutional action. The episode further addresses strategies for strengthening culture in organizations’ daily operations and the main challenges involved in this process.

Another highlight is the reflection on situations in which organizational culture extends beyond the boundaries of the institution itself and begins to influence partners, community leaders, and beneficiaries. Drawing on the experience of the Norberto Odebrecht Foundation, the conversation illustrates how values and principles can spread throughout communities, expanding the reach of the institutional mission and enhancing social development efforts.

The episode invites managers, Third Sector professionals, and anyone interested in social transformation to reflect on the role of culture as a key element for institutional sustainability and the generation of lasting positive impact. Listen on YouTube.
