Celebrating Trajectories

Every year, Horiens celebrates with its members the trajectory of those who reach milestones in the company through its Annual Tribute Program (PHA).

The initiative promotes the recognition of the company-member partnership and the admiration we have for people and their ability to contribute over time.

In 2024, nine members were honored for completing 5, 10, 15, and 25 years of work and dedication to Horiens. The celebration took place in São Paulo on 12/13, with the participation of the entire team.

5 years

“I can’t believe it’s already been 5 years at Horiens, working in the oil and gas sector. Many things have been special during this period: moving back to Rio de Janeiro (I work in Macaé, in the interior of Rio), as I am from Rio but worked in São Paulo; having inspiring leaders who made and make all the difference for my professional development; working in an environment where we always start from trusting people, in addition to knowing and identifying with a culture that encourages us to give our best and makes us learn a lot in the close relationship of serving the client. 10 years

“The last decade has been very significant in my life and career. Ten years ago, I was about to move with my family to work in the United States. When I received the invitation from Horiens, a phrase marked me a lot: that here I would have a blue ocean to continue growing.

That piqued my curiosity and was what I needed to hear to stay, as deep down, I wanted to remain in Brazil, practicing my profession at a high level and also close to my parents and in-laws, especially.

Today I look back and see that it was a very right decision, both personally and professionally. Surely my professional trajectory is much more beautiful and complete today for everything I have had the opportunity to accomplish at Horiens!”

“It may seem cliché, but Horiens has been a school for me in these 10 years at the company. When I started my journey here as an intern, still studying Civil Engineering, I imagined that my time at this company would be temporary, as I had never intended to work with risks and insurance.

Over the years, however, I learned and realized the importance of our role in business performance. I understood that no major project starts without first having the support of a robust insurance program, and that our work can save and ensure the continuity of a business that has gone through a catastrophic or crisis situation. I literally fell in love and today I can’t imagine doing anything else.

One of the great factors that contributed to this was certainly having had the pleasure of living with incredible professionals who inspired and taught me to have resilience and not give up on always seeking the best. 15 years

“Fifteen years of history… impossible to dissociate professional aspects from personal ones. Years that counted on the support of my family, who also bets on the company. In new challenges, such as changes in PAs and expatriations, a family that has also become international, with a spirit of service due to my work and learnings.

I am very grateful for the opportunities and have always dedicated myself to the group as if it were my small company, seeking excellence in deliveries, in addition to my development in each of them. When asked ‘how do you manage to stay so long in the same company?’, I never had a ready answer, but I have one certainty: constant changes are part of the path. For me, this means motivation and oxygenation to face new challenges and a welcome professional versatility that many miss in their daily lives.

At this moment of celebration, I remember each of the people I had the privilege of working with: clients, leaders, peers, subordinates, and friends; all contributed to my history. I also remember that the journey already traveled is what solidifies our foundations to look to the future, as it is in it that we will live. I am very happy to celebrate another milestone in my trajectory.”

25 years

“I am completing 25 years at Horiens and I can say, with all certainty, that each cycle has been extremely positive in my life and career.

Over this time, I have experienced a growing and immense curve of learnings through challenges overcome, which translate into a lot of self-knowledge and great achievements. At this moment of celebration, I want to express my deep gratitude for this journey that I live here every day, which has been firm and intense, but also smooth, happy, and respectful.

I may be completing 25 years at the company, but I guarantee that with the vigor, commitment, and joy of someone who has been hired for 25 days. May the next years of work and dedication at Horiens come, with much dedication and energy!”
