OEC celebrates partnership with Poli USP Junior Company
DATE: 03/20/2024
On March 18, OEC signed a new partnership with USP’s Junior Engineering Company (Poli Júnior). The aim of this action is to exchange knowledge between the organizations, bringing OEC closer to the university environment.
Poli Júnior is the largest junior company in Brazil. Made up of around 180 students from the various Engineering courses at USP’s Polytechnic School, it provides services from legal entities to large companies in the following sectors as Architecture and Civil Construction, Technology and Innovation, Management and Business Consulting and Intelligence and Data Analysis segments. With more than 34 years’ experience, Poli Júnior has already carried out more than 1000 projects and is a non-profit organization run by Poli students themselves and supported by the school’s teaching staff.
The partnership includes, on the part of OEC, the presentation of case studies of projects, visits to works in progress, exchange of knowledge in the area of Innovation, presentations related to People Management and Leadership, as well as voluntary mentoring for Poli Júnior members. According to Eduardo Abud, head of P&O for Brazil and Latin America, “the partnership between OEC and Poli Júnior is a great pleasure. I see a great affinity of values between Our Culture and the Junior Enterprise Movement when it comes to creativity, determination and training people. The exchange is also a rich opportunity for interaction between generations, by intensifying our relationship with the university environment”.
The partnership will be led by the P&O and Engineering and Innovation corporate teams and is also part of the strategy to strengthen the OEC employer brand and attract talent for new projects.
