Respect Transforms! More than 650 members participated simultaneously in the project launch

Last Tuesday (18), the OEC launched the Respect Transforms project through an opening live with the presence of CEO, Mauricio Cruz. The project is an initiative that aims to develop the values present in Our Culture, as well as to reinforce our commitment to adopt practices to prevent and combat any situations of discrimination, intolerance and disrespect in our workplace, whether related to ethnicity/race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, social origin or any other characteristic.

Also present were the Managing Director of OEC Africa, Marcus Azeredo, and the Managing Director of OEC Latin America, Pedro Pinheiro, besides the special participation of the speaker Renato Santos, executive partner of S2 Consultoria and Co-founder of the Instituto de Pesquisa do Risco Comportamental (IPRC Brasil), and Luciana Secaf, R-Internal Audit, who mediated the meeting.

The central theme of the live was the fight against harassment, with a focus on clarifying all types of impertinence within the workplace and reinforcing the use of the Ethics Line Channel for denunciations whenever necessary. During the chat, a dynamic was proposed so that the more than 650 simultaneous spectators could participate in an online quiz about how to deal with cases of harassment at work.

At the end of the live there was a time for questions and answers where the members could clarify doubts and even make constructive comments about the subject.

This was only the first initiative of this very important project. Over the months other actions will be carried out with the objective of making more and more explicit the fact that the OEC does not tolerate harassment, discrimination, and prejudice, besides the main focus that Respect Transforms.
