DATE: 11/24/2022
Two days dedicated to inspire and reflect on the role of OEC leadership in today’s world and business context, based on the 2023-25 Planning Cycle and Our Culture. This was the Leadership Summit, an event held on November 10th and 11th, with approximately 300 participants from 8 countries (Brazil, Peru, Panama, Dominican Republic, Angola, Ghana, United States, and Argentina).
The meeting was broadcast live online in 3 languages and included 8 hours of content, covering topics such as strategy, market, leadership, customer satisfaction, innovation, diversity, and the ESG agenda.
“It is very important to be together reflecting on the future of OEC, because this is a future that we, the people who make up this company, will build together. It is an essential opportunity for continuous learning, strategy enhancement, and the formation of future generations of leaders,” said Mauricio Cruz, OEC Business Leader, at the opening of the event.
Next, Héctor Núñez, President Director of Novonor, presented the Group’s direction, highlighting the focus on engineering in the coming years. Mauricio followed up with OEC’s strategic direction, which will drive all actions in the 2023-25 cycle.
The agenda also included an opportunities panel with the DSs Luiz Simon, Marcus Azeredo, Pedro Pinheiro, and Marcelo Hofke, and lectures with the guests: Paulo Alvarenga, CEO of Mastersoul; Fernanda Tauffenbach, Infrastructure Partner at Deloitte, Hatem Soliman, independent advisor at OEC; Renata Moraes, CEO of Impulso Beta; and Jorge Soto, Director of Sustainability at Braskem.
More to come!
The Leadership Summit is part of the Moves OEC strategy, officially launched during the event. “We will have a series of initiatives aimed at leaders to drive the search for continuous development, essential for our growth,” said Ludmila Lavigne, Director of People and Planning.
“Look at the future as opposed to the past. Focus on the opportunity more than on the
