Atvos starts its 20/21 crop with more responsibility
DATE: 04/15/2020
Atvos started a new Crop with the purpose of producing clean energy that drives health professionals, powers hospitals and cities, and sweetens the tables of families. They are working to take all necessary measures to preserve the health of collaborators and continue to deliver products that are essential to the population.
In the agro-industrial units, which continue in operation, collaborators received bottles of 70% alcohol and were instructed on health care, and correct hand hygiene. After each trip, the buses used by collaborators had their cleaning procedures intensified. Drivers received a mask, gloves, and everyone must sanitize their hands with 70% alcohol before boarding. The bus windows are always open and the seats were marked to ensure the minimum safety distance. A fleet availability survey was also carried out in order to reduce the number of people and personal contact inside the buses.
All machines and operational fleets were equipped with a sanitizing kit. The units’ common and living areas undergo continuous hygienization. Entrance hall attendants and security guards were also provided with masks and gloves. Soon, all units will also measure body temperature at bus boarding stations and gateways.
The operation of the units’ cafeterias was adjusted to avoid agglomerations, with shifts and distance between tables. 70% alcohol is available at the entrance, ramps and dining tables. After each shift, the entire environment is sterilized.
Some of the office employees, as well as the units’ administrative areas, are working remotely from home. Employees who are part of the risk group (over 60 years of age, pregnant women and those with chronic diseases) were removed from activities or entered into a flex office regime. Other measures are being implemented to further increase the protection of all employees.
Taking care of tomorrow starts today. Atvos will continue to produce 70% alcohol to fight against Covid-19 (read more here) and clean energy to contribute to a better future.
