The ViaSul Construction Consortium has reached an important milestone in the BR-386 expansion project in Soledade, Rio Grande do Sul, by completing the lifting of the 52 girders that make up one of the most significant phases of the project. This achievement represents a major step forward in the contract’s execution.

Considered a highly complex operation, the work was carried out over 23 days and involved lifting structures weighing between 15 and 96 tons. The entire process was executed under rigorous safety standards, technical planning, and quality control procedures.

Each lifting operation required detailed logistics studies, equipment positioning, weather condition monitoring, operational control, and coordination among multiple teams. In operations of this scale, there is no room for improvisation. The successful outcome reflects careful planning, operational discipline, and the commitment of the professionals involved.

Wilson Souto Roschel, Production Coordinator responsible for overseeing the operation, highlighted the pride felt in completing this important phase. According to him, the success of the operation is the result of teamwork, with all teams working in an integrated manner to ensure safety and quality throughout every stage of execution.

Roschel also emphasized the importance of the BR-386 expansion for the state of Rio Grande do Sul. The project will contribute to improved road safety, enhanced mobility, and stronger regional development. “Taking part in and leading such an important stage of this transformation is a source of great satisfaction and responsibility,” he said.

The completion of the girder lifting operation not only marks the achievement of a technical milestone but also reinforces the ViaSul Construction Consortium’s commitment to safety, operational excellence, and the delivery of projects that generate positive impacts for society and support the development of the state’s infrastructure.
