TUP Enseada receives recognition from ABEEÓLICA for developing a logistics-port solution

On March 13, 2023, aceremony was held to celebrate the innovation and success of the partnership developed between Enseada, CGNBrasilEnergia and Goldwind in the logistics for receipt of wind components destined to the Tanque Novo Complex Project in Bahia.
Present at the event were ElbiaGannoum, CEO of ABEEÓLICA, Ricardo Ricardi, CEO of Enseada, Carlos Tsubake, Commercial Officer of Enseada, Fang Likui, President of CGNBrasil, and Dr. Ricardo Carneiro, mayor of the city of Tanque Novo. During the ceremony, ABEEÓLICA presented ENSEADA with a Recognition Plaque for the innovative development of the logistic-port solution for the project.
40 complete wind turbines manufactured in China were received, cleared and stored in the bonded area of the Terminal de UsoPrivativo – TUPEnseada (Private Use Terminal) for subsequent transportation to CGNBrasil’sTanque Novo Wind Farm. Every port operation was carried out successfully and with total safety for the members, the cargo involved, the environment, and the surrounding communities.
The management of Enseada expresses its deep gratitude to customers CGN and Goldwind, to the suppliers, to Abeeólica, to the public agencies, to its members and to all the people who, in some way, contributed to make this new logistic route possible for the wind farms in Bahia, from the use of the infrastructure of TUPEnseada.

Tanque Novo Wind Complex
The Tanque Novo Wind Complex is located in the municipalities of Tanque Novo and Caetité, both in Bahia, in the southern region of the state, and shall have a total of 40 wind turbines distributed in 7 wind farms, with a total installed capacity of 180 MW.
