  • The 26th episode of the Conexão OEC podcast welcomes Eduardo Toledo, pioneer of BIM in Brazil

    In the latest edition of the Conexão OEC podcast, Eduardo Toledo talks about his expertise in the field of engineering innovation, being one of the forerunners in the use of BIM technology in Brazil. Toledo holds a PhD in electrical engineering, is a professor at the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo and Vice-Coordinator of the Professional Master’s Degree in Innovation in Civil Construction. He is one of the founders and a member of the Advisory Board of BIM Forum Brazil, which aims to encourage the adoption of BIM in the country.

    In the 26th episode, the engineer highlights several important aspects of the implementation of BIM technology over the last 20 years. He also discusses his current view of evolution in both the workplace and academia. “Some professionals think they know what BIM is… Many think it’s an evolution of CAD,” said Eduardo.

    With a long list of achievements in the field of engineering and innovation, Eduardo Toledo is also the Outreach Director of the National Association for Built Environment Technology – ANTAC – and Director of the international organizations ISGG, ISCCBE and CIB, among others.
