TEM Consortium Opens Welder Qualification Center
DATE: 09/02/2026
Focused on quality, safety, and operational excellence, the TEM Boaventura Consortium has inaugurated its new Welder Qualification Center, a facility dedicated to the assessment and certification of professionals who will work on the project.
The center was created to meet the project’s specific requirements by conducting qualification tests in accordance with the welding processes required in the field. Professionals are evaluated in different techniques, including TIG, MIG/MAG, and Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), ensuring they are qualified to perform their activities in compliance with the established quality standards.
This initiative reinforces the Consortium’s commitment to workforce development and the delivery of high-quality services. Throughout the project execution, an average of 400 welders are expected to be working on-site, making the Qualification Center a key differentiator in ensuring the technical competence of the teams and the reliability of the services performed.
The inauguration of the center marks another milestone for the project, strengthening the culture of quality, professional development, and the continuous pursuit of better results.
