OEC present at the 6th Brazilian Congress on Tunnels and Structures

The 6th Brazilian Congress on Tunnels and Underground Structures took place between March 10 and 12, together with the international seminar, “Latin American Tunnelling Seminar LAT 2025” at Espaço Frei Caneca in the city of São Paulo. Lúcio Rosa, an engineer and tunnel production coordinator for OEC in Rio de Janeiro, spoke at the event on the 11th about “Underground excavations for the Campo Grande Connection and Ring Road projects”.

Held by the Brazilian Tunneling Committee , the event’s central theme this year was “Development and Sustainability through Tunnels and Underground Structures”. It was an opportunity to bring together renowned names in the tunnel industry from around the world, addressing 16 topics considered fundamental for professionals working in this area.

During the meetings, new technologies and trends in the areas of tunnel design, construction, maintenance and operation were presented, providing professionals in the area with technical updates, the opportunity to debate innovative ideas and exchange valuable experiences.
