OEC Field Team in Campo Grande Revitalizes Square and Builds Skate Track in Rio de Janeiro

On September 19th, the OEC field team in Campo Grande, Rio de Janeiro, delivered a new 135m² skatepark to the region’s skaters in partnership with the city’s government.
Located on Avenida Cesário de Melo, near the Mergulhão, also built by OEC, Francisco Barbosa Square underwent significant revitalization for the region. Of the 2,800m², 1,200 were dedicated to green areas, highlighting the commitment to environmental preservation.
Additionally, the urban project combines modernity and respect for local history, preserving monuments and implementing significant improvements, such as 1,600m² of new pedestrian spaces, a 75m lane for cyclists, and the planting of new trees that enhance the environment. In addition, the square now has a 135m² skatepark, offering a leisure and socializing space for the community.
