Over its 74 years of history, Odebrecht Engineering & Construction (OEC) has been a company focused on entrepreneurship and innovation, bringing to its construction sites solutions with a huge impact on the optimization of materials, time for executing services and environmental solutions, among others, which give its projects the well-known and indisputable quality.

In this journey, the company is always alert to the development of new technological alternatives in order to broaden this horizon to the frontiers of digital technology to reinforce these characteristics and contribute to the Infrastructure sector, for which it is willing to explore opportunities to apply this new technology in its projects. The company also uses technology to improve its internal management processes more efficiently.

It is in this scenario that Odebrecht Engineering & Construction and Microsoft have strengthened their longstanding relationship by signing a memorandum of understanding for scientific and technological cooperation and exchange.  This partnership aims to improve the research and development of joint solutions, including using Artificial Intelligence, which will be applied in construction sites and will further contribute to the safety of team members and communities surrounding these sites, resulting in increased productivity, better control of environmental conservation, and other processes that can raise the level of engineering and construction services in Brazil and around the world. In the management area, OEC has also been analyzing the possibility of using blockchain technology to improve operational efficiency.
