The month of March is special at OEC. With the “Mulher de Bem” campaign, the construction company reinforces the appreciation and respect for women in actions dedicated to promoting health, well-being and self-care. The initiative engaged members of several projects in Brazil and abroad, who have shared testimonials, photos and videos on Rede Juntos, the company’s corporate social network with 2,900 people.

On International Women’s Day – March 8 -, teams followed a live event on women’s comprehensive health with Dr. Glória Braga, a physician specialized in cardiology, and Dr. Denize Cavalcante Lopes, responsible for occupational health at OEC.

Throughout the month, other actions and events will be carried out addressing the well-being of women in various aspects of professional and personal life, such as finances and mental and emotional health. The campaign also invites and provokes men to be allies of women, highlighting the main thing: respect.

At OEC, valuing differences and human multiplicity is a premise. The disclosures carry the hashtag #RespectTransform, launched in 2021 in the Diversity & Inclusion campaign. In the last 5 years, 51% of the people hired by the construction company are women and they currently occupy 16% of leadership positions.
