Odebrecht works carry out activities during Green April, the month of occupational safety and health

Every year, the month of April is dedicated to awareness, accident prevention, and the promotion of occupational health and safety. With this in mind, Odebrecht Engineering & Construction works further reinforced their commitment to fostering a culture of prevention, strengthening safe practices, and expanding dialogue around risks, control measures, and collective responsibility.

Following a shared objective, the initiatives focused on promoting safe behaviors, the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and the continuous training of leaders and teams.

Among the highlights were the themed Daily Safety Dialogue (DDS) at the Gávea Construction Consortium, focused on workers’ perceptions of their own behaviors, as well as safety lectures at the ETA Xerém Consortium, Novo Marapicu Reservoir, and Campo Grande Road Connection project, all located in Rio de Janeiro.

In Rio Grande do Sul, the Via Sul Construction Consortium reinforced the importance of valuing life, properly using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and adopting safe behaviors in daily activities. Meanwhile, in São Paulo, the Cantareira Consortium, responsible for the Rodoanel Norte works, promoted a Corporate Safety Seminar for Leaders and Supervisors.

The initiatives are aligned with this year’s central theme defined by the International Labour Organization (ILO), which celebrates World Day for Safety and Health at Work on April 28 and honors victims of fatal workplace accidents, emphasizing accident prevention, occupational disease prevention, and the promotion of safe and healthy work environments.
