DATE: 08/03/2026
For the fifth consecutive year, Odebrecht Engineering & Construction has been awarded the IIA MAY Seal, granted by the Institute of Internal Auditors of Brazil (IIA Brazil), in recognition of its efforts to promote awareness of the importance of Internal Audit.
In addition to this achievement, the company also received the IIA MAY 2026 Outstanding Achievement Award, presented to organizations that have excelled in engagement, reach, innovation, and contribution to strengthening the Internal Audit profession and brand in Brazil.
These recognitions reflect initiatives such as communication campaigns, technical events, webinars, and the organization of the first AuditNext event, reinforcing Odebrecht’s commitment to integrity, transparency, and continuous improvement.
More than awards, these achievements demonstrate the importance the company places on Internal Audit as a cornerstone of corporate governance, contributing to stronger risk management, enhanced internal controls, and better decision-making. By fostering an ethical and transparent culture, Odebrecht reaffirms its commitment to creating sustainable value and adopting market best practices.
“Receiving these recognitions from IIA Brazil reinforces our commitment to transparency, governance, and excellence. Internal Audit plays a strategic role in creating value for the business by supporting risk management and strengthening internal controls,” highlights Gemau Halla, Head of Internal Audit, Internal Controls and Risk Management at Odebrecht Engineering & Construction and Novonor.
