Between March 20th and 22nd, the Nuclear Trade and Technology Exchange (NT2E), the largest fair in the field, promoted by the Brazilian Association for the Development of Nuclear Activities (ABDAN), took place. The three-day event featured the presence of the sector’s top specialists, Executive and Legislative authorities, as well as the participation of Odebrecht’s Nuclear Business Director, Pedro Moreira.

Felipe Piler, Contract Director of PROSUB-EBN, was one of the speakers at the event, sharing the stage with a representative from Atech (Embraer), Nuclep’s president, Admiral Seixas, and the Navy’s Nuclear Development Director, Admiral Miranda.

The presentation consisted of two blocks, the first discussing the development of the Civil Nuclear area, specifically proposing solutions for the resumption of the Angra 3 Nuclear Plant works. The second block addressed the Navy’s Nuclear Program, with a special focus on the LABGENE works, the Nuclear Power Generation Laboratory.

With the theme “Growth of the Nuclear Sector Production Chain,” Piler began by recapping Odebrecht’s history in the Angra Plant works since the 1970s, highlighting the importance of PROSUB and the accumulated benefits of the entire industrial sector as a model to be replicated in LABGENE activities. He reaffirmed the company’s commitment to the strategic partnership with the Brazilian Navy, providing support for the development of the Angra 3 works. “All the company’s technical capacity, especially in delivering to clients, is preserved and available to the Navy and Eletronuclear for immediate action and construction of the future of the Brazilian Nuclear Sector,” he said.
