Institute of Internal Auditors recognizes actions of OEC and Novonor

For the third year running, OEC was awarded by the Institute of Internal Auditors of Brazil (IIA Brazil) in the IIA May campaign for the various actions that praise and raise awareness of the importance of Internal Auditing. This year Novonor also took part and was recognized.

May is International Internal Audit Awareness Month. During this period, members of the OEC and Novonor from the various countries in which the companies operate were impacted by communication actions about the progress made so far.

Exclusive content on the topic was created for the social networks, which, in addition to reaching the members, also reached the public interested in the company’s affairs, who were able to learn more about the work carried out in support of the efficiency and safety of operations.

For Luciana Secaf, head of OEC’s Internal Audit department, the award is a stimulus for the company to continue investing in continuous improvement actions and process enhancement. “We’re very happy to have made it this far and we’ll continue to strive for continuous evolution. Congratulations to the entire Internal Audit team, which makes us proud of everything we have achieved,” he says.

The IIA Brazil is a professional association that aims to provide training, qualification and professional certification services for its members and is among the five largest Internal Auditing institutes in the world.
