Dear Team Member,

The Odebrecht Global Advisory Council was created to support the Board of Directors of Odebrecht S.A. (BoD-ODB) in developing a broad and diversified geopolitical perspective and on topics related to governance and strategic direction.

Members of the Global Advisory Council are internationally recognized leaders from Brazil and other countries, who come from companies, civil society organizations and academia, as well as multilateral and government entities. They contribute knowledge and experience on a broad spectrum of subjects such as business, governance, citizenship, social responsibility, sustainability and commitments to society.

The Global Council interacts directly with the Board of Directors of Odebrecht and, when appropriate, with the CEO and Business Leaders.

The first integrated events involving the Board of Directors of Odebrecht, the Global Advisory Council, the CEO of Odebrecht S.A., Business Leaders and Team Members and their teams will take place on October 22, 23 and 24.

One of these events is the Seminar on Challenges and Opportunities in External Scenarios, with the active participation of members of the Global Advisory Council and the presence of 180 Leaders from our Businesses and Odebrecht S.A.

Two topics will be presented and discussed at the seminar – The Changing Role of Companies in Society and Effectively Competing with Ethics, Integrity and Transparency in Challenging Environments – to identify programs to be incorporated into Odebrecht’s Strategic Direction and the Leaders’ Action Programs.

The creation of the Global Advisory Council is one of the many initiatives that have been implemented across the Businesses and Odebrecht S.A. since last year, which have been very useful in this stage of the resumption of our growth.

We are confident in the path we have chosen to continue our history of contributing to the countries in which we are active and improving people’s lives.
