On January 25th, the graduation of the students from the Concrete Technological Control Laboratory Assistant course took place at the OEC’s central laboratory, which serves the construction company’s projects in Rio de Janeiro, except for Prosub. The class consisted of 10 students who work on the Campo Grande, Marapicu, and BRT Transoeste Terminal projects.

The course took place on Saturdays, with four hours of classes per day. During this opportunity, the students learned a new trade, being able to work as Laboratory Assistants in any project after their training.

“I decided to take the course for professional growth reasons. Even though I have a degree in Building Technician, I was chosen and decided to be present and understand how this area works, which is very important, aiming to meet the expectations of the company and our clients,” said Iuri Oliveira, a production assistant working on the BRT Transoeste Terminal project, who expressed his satisfaction with the course and praised the teachers for their excellent work.

Elison Fraga Nascimento, a production assistant on the Campo Grande Ring Road project, said that the training will open doors and expand professional possibilities for his future. “I was very satisfied with the course. The teacher knows a lot and has a lot of patience to teach. I liked it a lot,” he said when evaluating the work of Professor Edson Oliveira, responsible for the Technological Control Laboratory in Rio de Janeiro.

This action is part of numerous OEC initiatives that offer learning opportunities for workers involved in their projects, who wish to advance in their professional careers.
