Braskem announces 10 Commitments to Maceio

Braskem’s priority is people’s safety.

Since 2019, this has remained Braskem’s greatest commitment to Maceió and its residents. We recognize the social impact caused and have therefore been diligent in implementing the actions.

Four years ago, we began the preventive relocation of the eviction areas together with the authorities and signed agreements to develop a set of actions and programs to repair, mitigate and compensate for the effects of ground subsidence in Maceió. In this way, we have permanently reaffirmed our commitments to the city and its residents.

In order to make these actions and programs even more transparent, easier to understand and monitor, some of which are already at an advanced stage of implementation or have even been completed, we have consolidated our Commitments to Maceió.
