    On November 18 and 19, the BIM PROSUB-EBN Workshop was held, organized by Odebrecht’s Innovation team, the holding company of Tenenge. The event aimed to present the fundamental concepts of Building Information Modeling (BIM), highlighting the importance of understanding the foundations that support this approach to Engineering. Such knowledge is essential to ensure consistent and integrated application in projects and developments carried out by Odebrecht.

    The workshop offered six hours of content designed to guarantee a full basic understanding of BIM, enabling participants to access key aspects of the methodology, understand the reasons why this topic is relevant to the Construction company, and feel motivated to start or continue their training journey on the subject.

    The program also featured specialists who addressed strategic topics, including:

    • Virtual Design and Construction (VDC), a methodology developed by Stanford University that promotes integration between planning and execution;
    • 4D Planning with Synchro, a tool that links schedules to modeling, allowing visual simulations of project progress;
    • Reality Capture Processes, which enable the collection of accurate physical environment data for integration with digital models.

    The workshop was an opportunity to reaffirm the commitment to innovation and the adoption of practices that enhance efficiency, quality, project predictability, and productivity gains resulting from workflows based on modeling and intelligent information management.
