Atvos publishes Annual Report for the crop year 2017/2018
DATE: 09/25/2018
The Atvos Annual Report, which was published today (25), presents the key accomplishments and results of the 2017/18 crop year, shows how the business activities are performed to meet the strategic goals outlined by the Board of Directors and reinforces the company’s commitment to acting ethically, with integrity and transparency.
Atvos is Brazil’s first sugar and ethanol industry to adopt the principles and guidelines of the Integrated Report, which covers six types of capital. Atvos adopted the framework to show how it creates value in different kinds of capital, which benefits shareholders and investors through better risk management and improved resource allocation.
The data in the report related to performance and the economic, social and environmental impacts of the business is presented in accordance with the framework of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), an international organization whose transparency standard for reporting indicators is recognized worldwide. The document also presents the progress made by Atvos on the 10 Principles undertaken in the Global Compact and the Sustainable Development Goals, both United Nations initiatives.
The information presented covers the period from April 1, 2017 to March 31, 2018, which follows the cycle of the sugarcane crop year.
