Event for college students presents Odebrecht’s corporate culture

Around 40 college students from different fields and universities gathered at the Odebrecht São Paulo Building last Tuesday, May 22, to learn about Odebrecht’s culture. The event is part of Journey to the Future, a program created by the headhunting firm Cia de Talentos to put universities in closer contact with employers, with activities held at 14 partner companies.
Daniel Villar, Planning & People Officer at Odebrecht S.A., explained the new role of the holding company and the challenges that the Group and its Business have been overcoming in Odebrecht’s transformation journey. “We’re confident that, at this moment when we’re turning the page, we’re strengthening our organization to resume a sustainable growth path, with a huge contribution made by young professionals,” he said.
Cristiane Giansante, People Director at Odebrecht S.A., presented the main points of the Odebrecht Entrepreneurial Technology (TEO) through activities that fostered interaction among participants and debunked some myths, such as the one that companies always encourage their professionals to compete against each other.
