The Norberto Odebrecht Foundation (FNO) has been awarded the Ethnic-Racial Diversity Seal for the fifth consecutive time. The recognition is granted by the Municipal Secretariat for Reparations (Semur) of the City of Salvador. The award ceremony took place on the 18th in Salvador, Bahia, bringing together representatives from public institutions, private organizations, and civil society.
Created in 2007 and awarded annually, the Seal is part of a municipal public policy. The initiative recognizes organizations that implement actions to promote racial equity while encouraging the appreciation of diversity as a key driver of innovation and social transformation.
The Foundation received the award in the Recognition category, which honors institutions that stand out for fostering more diverse and inclusive environments. Today, 60% of FNO’s team is composed of professionals who identify as Black or Brown.
According to Ana Jaqueline Ferraz, from FNO’s Social Partnerships area, the recognition is closely aligned with the institution’s values. “This Seal reinforces the pillars of the Novonor Group’s culture, especially the appreciation of people, respect for differences, and the conviction that development can only be truly achieved when it creates opportunities for everyone,” she emphasized.
