The CEO of Vexty and Coordinator of Abrapp’s Ethics Committee, Mauro Figueira, presented the panel “How the Code of Conduct Enhances the Strategy of EFPCs” on the main stage of the 46th Brazilian Congress of Private Pensions (46CBPP), promoted by Abrapp – the Brazilian Association of Closed Supplementary Pension Entities, held from October 22 to 24 in São Paulo.

Mauro highlighted the principles of the Code of Conduct, with practical examples of its application in entity management, and emphasized the importance of ethics and transparency as core pillars for the private pension sector. He also announced the launch of the Good Practices Seal, which will identify entities committed to the Code, and mentioned the 89 entities already signatories, reinforcing the engagement with ethics, integrity, and good governance. Vexty has been a signatory of Abrapp’s Code of Conduct since December 2022, reaffirming its alignment and commitment to the sector’s best practices.

The panel was moderated by Abrapp’s Director of Standards at Previc, Alcinei Rodrigues, and included the participation of two members of Abrapp’s Ethics Committee: Armando Bello de Oliveira Jr, CEO of Prevcom-MG, and Fernanda Rinco, Director and AETQ at CP Prev, who contributed to the discussion and addressed questions raised by the audience.

“Ethical, transparent, and integral conduct is essential for the legitimacy and sustainability of the closed supplementary pension system. By adhering to the Code of Conduct, each EFPC makes a public commitment to these values, contributing to organizational sustainability and strengthening the trust of participants, beneficiaries, sponsors, and founders. I thank Abrapp for the invitation and the opportunity to contribute to strengthening the culture of integrity within EFPCs,” Mauro stated.

Vexty was also present at the event with a presentation by the Director of Benefits, Relationships, and Technology, Cristiano Verardo, during the lecture “Pension Is a Family Matter” at the UniAbrapp Forum.

Cristiano shared insights on the concept of Pension-Minded Attitude, relating it to the importance of planning and anticipating life situations — being “ready to go around.” He also reinforced the value of engaging multiple generations in pension planning, strengthening the idea of caring for the future as a shared journey.

“It was an enriching experience to participate in the 46th CBPP, an event organized with so much care and attention by Abrapp. Talking about the future is talking about care — and when the whole family gets involved in this planning, the purpose of pension becomes even more meaningful,” Cristiano said.

This subject is part of Abrapp’s Financial and Pension Education agenda and remains a constant commitment of Vexty to fostering dialogue on long-term planning in an accessible and inspiring way for all audiences.
