OR launched in 2022 the Education Leadership program for young team leaders, estimated to last 6 months and to bring in its structure moments of exchange with experienced leaders who practice our culture since the beginning of their professional careers and contribute to the program by sharing their learning and life and career experiences.
A total of 25 members attended in the program virtually, and the main objectives were:
– Strengthen members in their leader roles;
– Add tools and techniques to their leadership repertoire;
– Reinforce the leader’s role in Our Culture;
– Understand and address difficulties and opportunities while leading;
– Share the best leadership and people management practices;
– Promote the exchange of experiences among the participants; and
– Inspire to be an example in the training of young people and professionals.
Within the scope of the Program, an activity aimed at the Members’ self-knowledge was carried out in order to broaden their perception of their individual characteristics, which are fundamental to the exercise their leadership role. The FACET Tool is a powerful tool for self-knowledge and a strong ally in personal development processes based on the Big Five personality theory.
The program offered 22 hours of content tools with the Advising from Cia de Talentos supporting us in some Self-Knowledge themes such as: the Leader Role – Principles of Leadership, Situational Leadership, Remote Management, Feedback, Collaboration, Conflict Management, and Time Management.
Leaders Rodrigo Melo (Superintendent Director of OR’s Southeast regional office) and Juliana Baiardi (BL Participation), also shared their life and career history with practical examples of overcome challenges and achievements in the professional and personal areas. In the final stage of the program, OR’s BL, Eduardo Pedreira will end the program by telling his inspirational story to this new generation.
Verano’s development case was presented to the Program participants with the objective of sharing the context and the real situation experienced by OR executives in which decision making, proximity to the client, courage, team, and experience made the difference.
The Leader participating in the case provoked the members about the problem experienced, listening to possibilities for action and sharing the solution given to the case. In closing, a challenge was launched so that, in groups, the participants could analyze the case and suggest improvements.
On 11/09, the final stage of the program will take place with the Monvert development case, with the same objective, but this time the members will participate in the activities directly from Salvador to conclude this incredible OR Leadership project.
