Our Culture Seminar gathered around two thousand members of Novonor Group

Our Culture Seminar, held on August 9, gathered around two thousand members from all the companies of Novonor Group in various regions of Brazil and the world. With both in-person and online participation, the event featured a presentation by Novonor S.A.’s CEO, Héctor Núñez, alongside OEC and OR members Reinaldo Lopes and Vanessa Couto, and an audience of 36 representatives appointed by the businesses, auxiliary companies, and our Foundation. The content of the meeting was approved by 89% of the participating audience in a poll conducted by the OEC/Novonor Communication area.
During his speech, Novonor’s CEO pointed out that few companies in the world have the privilege of having a culture developed by the company founder himself.
“It is necessary to know and understand Our Culture, which is kept alive and always updated by practice. As Norberto Odebrecht said, the duty to evolve now lies with us. We aim at to increase and encourage the importance and presence of the founder in all our units and locations,” Héctor said.
He ensured that in the next few days the new Nossa Memória website will be more intuitive and complete, with Google search pattern. Novonor Group’s memory collection has more than 160,000 documents registered in the digital base, among them the complete collection produced by Norberto Odebrecht, including his last manuscript he wrote in May 2014.
This was the second edition of the seminar, one year after the launch of Our Culture’s new communication form on August 3, 2021, when the Group’s nine values were launched (remember them here). The participants could see how our values are practiced and strengthened on a daily basis and reflect on the origin of Our Culture and the fundamentals conceived by the founder Norberto Odebrecht.
